Atalanta vs Napoli - 7:30 PM

Ralf Rangnick branded Harry McGuinness in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United after defender Bruno Fernandez suggested the media was partly responsible for the defender playing for England.

United's interim manager Rangnick has praised McGuinness for his loyalty at Old Trafford, with the 29-year-old being mocked in Tuesday's friendly against England and Ivory Coast.

McGuinness has been criticized for his performances in United's defense, which has won just seven Premier League titles this season, worse than the other top nine.

However, Rangnick liked Maguire's solid performance against his former club on Saturday.

"The reaction of our supporters [Maguire] has always been the same," Rangnick told Sky Sports.

"They are one of the best fans if not the best in England.

"Harry played well and played well in both defense and attack today. It was a solid performance from him."

Midfielder Fernandez came to his team-mate's defense and said media coverage of McGuinness's performances could help the comedians heard at Wembley.

"It's difficult for my country to play for the national team," Fernandez told Sky Sports. "It could be the media," he said.

"It's not because of his performance, but because he played really well in this game. Sometimes the media should think a little bit more about what they do."

McGuinness's form may be perfect in Rangnick's view, but United failed to secure the much-needed three points against Leicester.

Kelechi Iheanacho opened the scoring for Fred before the equalizer, and the VAR allowed James Madison to score in the 1-1 draw to ease United's embarrassment.

United have won just one of their last six matches in all competitions, three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

Rangnick's side have not won in their last four league games against Leicester. He has won seven of the last eight.

West Ham With Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur still to play, the chances of qualifying for the Champions League are slim, but Rangnic has vowed to fight hard.

"It was better in the second half," he said. "I think for most of the first half we were struggling to find our Rhythm. Probably due to a long international break.

"It was better in the second half, but it was not easy to concede a long goal in the transition period.

"We conceded a goal and I think the response was good. We came back and scored another goal. It was a good two or three moments to score the winning goal.

"In the end we were not happy with the result, but in the second half it worked out.

[Fourth place] is as mathematically possible as possible. It is our duty and responsibility to complete the best note possible.
