Cádiz vs Real Betis - 6:30 PM

Newcastle confirmed in the 90th minute that they were interested in signing West Ham striker Jarrod Bowen.

The 25-year-old has been an influential figure for Hammers this season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions for the club, helping them reach the top six in the Premier League and the Europa League quarter-finals.

Bowen has scored 17 Premier League goals; Nine goals and eight assists were the highest of any English player, breaking Gareth Southgate's last English game. It is possible to be called up for the March international tour.

90min has revealed that West Ham are ready to discuss with Bowen a new and better contract to reward him for his outstanding and enduring form, and have held initial talks between the club and its representatives.

However, Bowen has been linked with a move away from the club. He has really put pressure on Hammer to become one of the highest paid players at London Stadium and is starting to attract significant attention elsewhere.

Liverpool have long admired Bowen, who has yet to decide on the long-term future of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, but 90min know he is ready to compete with any club for his signature.

During his tenure as Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe was a staunch supporter of Bowen, and Newcastle's recruitment has sparked reports at the club's senior level.

Indeed, The Wealthy Magpies aim to rebuild their offensive within 12 months and are expected to sign No. 9 and at least two more extensive fronts: the Bowen Closure will fit.

Bowen has three years left on his long-term contract when he arrived at West Ham in January 2020 and is very happy at the club. But his weekly salary will have to come close if he can match the wages that Newcastle, who are the club's highest paid player, Katsumar, can easily afford.

West Ham have been linked with a move for Tomas Soucek and Ben Johnson, but talks are set to resume in the summer after initial talks failed.

Manchester United are set to make a move for West Ham captain David Moyes in 90 minutes as they prepare to break their transfer record.

Manager David Moyes had previously suggested at least 150 150million to consider selling West Ham, but sources have suggested that 120 120million could be enough for owner David Sullivan.
