Jose Mourinho clashed with a reporter traveling to Sampdoria on Sunday for Roma, who said "s ***" in front of him.
Journalist Alessandro Austini recently criticized Mourinho on Italian radio, with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid coach taking over at his pre-match press conference on Saturday.
Mourinho, 59, accused Austini of "disgusting" the reporter in front of him, expecting harsh questions from Austini.
To his question, Mourinho said: "After listening to what you have to say on the radio, you have a stronger question. I'm expecting a pessimistic and harsh question.
"I did not expect such an easy question. My conclusion is that on your radio you become more aggressive and harsh, but when you come here you are a little bit ahead of me."
Roma are seventh in Serie A ahead of Sunday's trip to Sampdoria, with 30 to 51 points.
They are unbeaten in their last nine Italian top-flight matches, winning the last four of their last four of the W5 D4. They are unbeaten in 10 consecutive games in 2015-16 (17 times, under Luciano Spalletti).
