Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has told reporters he is not interested in finding a quarter of Liverpool this season and praised Timo Werner for his fine form following his side's 2-0 FA Cup win over Crystal Palace.
In the 76th minute, Mason Mount took the lead in the 76th minute when Ruben Loftus-Cheek broke the deadlock with a 67 per cent shot from the edge of the box.
The win earned them a place in the FA Cup final between Liverpool and Wembley on May 14. Chelsea lost 2-1 to Arsenal in 2020 and 1-0 in 2021, and in 2021 they lost 1-0 to Leicester City in 2021. .
Liverpool are still alive in the Premier League and Champions League, beating Chelsea on penalties in the Champions League, but Tuchel was not interested in discussing their historic season.
"I do not care about [Liverpool] other trophies."
"Yes, we lost to [Liverpool] in the [Carabao Cup] final. As you know, until the last penalty we gave everything.
"We were unlucky to lose. We want to turn things around, but we do not give back the Carabao Cup title.
"We were in the FA Cup final last season and we're back here and it means it means 'incredible' for us.
"We will be ready to compete with one of the strongest teams in the world ... a team that will be difficult because of their results. "We will try to make it difficult for them."
Tuchel has been affected by his attacking style since the start of the season and his Chelsea career in general.
"There has been a slight change in our front line structure, so he played against Southampton and [Werner] Kai [Havertz], Mason [Mount] and Mateo Kovacic played next to him."
"He really liked it and had a good relationship with them. So this could be a turning point for him.
"He scored a lot of chances and a lot of chances. He decided in Madrid and could be the hero with the third goal, but he was unlucky.
"It was very difficult to find vacancies today, but he was very assertive, but the second goal was a huge part of the team that deserves [his place]."
