Thomas Tuchel has revealed the latest fitness news for Romelu Lukaku and Cesare Azpilikuta, who have both ruled out a move to the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
Chelsea lost to Brentford and Real in a row on Saturday, beating Southampton 6-0 at St Mary's.
As a result, Azpilicueta missed the game after the discovery of the Covid-19 virus, and Lukaku missed the knockout.
In a full-time interview, Tuchel admitted he was unsure if he would return in time for his club trip to Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
"He (Lukaku) did not go to training yesterday and was in a lot of pain," he said.
"We do not have much time. We have only two training sessions. We left our country on Monday. We have to wait. There is no answer now."
After a lot of poor performances, he was trying to explain Chelsea's turn. Tuchel suggested that his players' level of commitment had recently been substandard.
